Skates, Helmet, Knee Pads, Elbow Pads, Wristguards and Mouth Guard*
*Family & Implant
Dentistry is our sponsor dentist who will make you a custom mouth guard. Please
call them soon to set up a time to get yours made- 371-3443. Be sure
to thank them for their continued sponsorship of the Sioux Falls Roller Dollz.
*All other
equipment can be found at:
lowpriceskates.com- enter promotional code myspace15 to get
15% off sincityskates.com, viaderby.com, derbydepot.com- this are great research
websites, but lowpriceskates.com is probably the lowest.
********Please direct equipment questions to Inspectah Beck at roller321@gmail.com.
***If you need assistance purchasing your gear,
please direct questions to Julia Wild, our Rookie Taskforce Manager at juliawild375@gmail.com. She
has some creative ideas about personal sponsorship which may help you cover
the expense.
Next, skate, skate, skate!
Nothing can replace the benefits of actual time on your skates. Get
to Carousel as much as you can, and hit the trails once you get your gear. Paralyzer, paralyzer411@gmail.com works
at Carousel and is very patient and helpful teaching the basics and getting
you through the “Minimum Skills Requirements”.
Little Miss Masochist is an outdoor skating fanatic and loves the adventure,
so contact her to hook up for some trail skating and to have her for your
personal guide, jjjirsa@mac.com.
Incorporate the PEP program into your daily life (2-3 times a week MINIMUM)
- it only takes 15 minutes and will greatly reduce your risk of injury! You
can watch the video- and the right way to execute this program at: www.aclprevent.com/pepprogram.htm
We have a wonderful team doctor, Dr. Judith Peterson, so all medical questions
should be directed to her at 361-3945.
