ROLLEROKE!!!
It's the Roller Dollz 2nd Annual Rolleroke Contest,
Thursday nights at the Gateway Lounge.
Starting Thursday, July 8th, from 9pm to 1am. The top 3 winners from each week will compete in the finals on July 29th. Top winners from the final round will receive a Roller Dollz prize package with merchandise, tickets, and a chance to perform at a home bout in Season 5!
Que For Kids!
A benefit for Cure Kids Cancer
Saturday, June 12th, the Roller Dollz teamed up with other local celebrities
at the 41st and Minnesota Nyberg's Ace Hardware Store and had a cook-off to
raise money for Cure Kids Cancer of Sanford Children’s
Hospital.
The Roller Dollz took home the award for "Most Creative" and tied for
runner up for the "People's Choice" award.
There have been several inquiries about Mr.
Meds'
"Hip Check Pork Chop" recipe. It took some work, but we were able to
pry it out of him.

Coaching Opportunity!
 The
Sioux Falls Roller Dollz are currently looking for an energetic coach.
Being the coach for the Roller Dollz could be the volunteer
opportunity you’ve
been looking for. We need a motivational self-starter willing to learn
the ins and outs of modern flat track roller derby as played by the
WFTDA rules (see wftda.com for more information). Our coaching committee
will be there to help you along the way... sharing their tools and knowledge
in order to help you to help us to be successful and competitive at
a national level. Plus you’ll
have the love and admiration of 40+ skaters, our Refs, Jeerleaders, Stats
crew, Dollunteers... and of course all our fans!

A Message From The Dollz
It means so much to be a Roller Doll! And every Doll has her own individual story, her own individual reasons for participating in this tough sport. From a skating standpoint, and as an athletic endeavor, the rewards are great, but an even greater reward comes from why we do this, why it is such a privilege to be a Roller Doll.
Ask any of us, being a Roller Doll makes a difference…to us and to the community. For us, each time we lace on our skates, we prove that women can be as powerful, as athletic, and as determined as any other athletes. And we don’t do it only for ourselves, we do it for others. We donate the majority of our proceeds to worthy causes in our community. So, each and every person who shows up, who supports us contributes to the WHY behind the Dollz. We are able to continue because of our volunteers and support staff and our awesome fans who attend our bouts and help us grow the sport. We couldn’t do this without your partnership and loyalty and we appreciate every one of you!
Giving back to the community, empowering women, and bringing fun and excitement
to the process… that is what this is all about and we couldn’t be prouder! We’re
proud of our close-knit league called the Sioux Falls Roller Dollz! And we’re
proud to say that, by our third season, the entire Sioux Falls Roller Dollz family,
skaters, staff, volunteers, and fans have been privileged to donate $30,000 to
the most worthy people and causes in our community!
With your help, we will continue to grow this sport and together, we’ll do much more for the people and the community in the future! And we’ll all have a great time doing it together! Thank you and stay with us because, as they say, “You ain’t seen nothing yet!”
