Mr. Meds' Hip Check Pork Chops Recipe
What you need:
Pork Chops (Bone in preferably buy boneless will work too.)
- Canola Oil
- Apple Juice
- Cider Vinegar
Spice Rub Ingredients:
- Brown Sugar
- White Sugar
- Kosher Salt
- Cracked Black Pepper
- Paprika
- Cayenne Chili Powder
- New Mexican Chili Powder
- Red Chili Flakes
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Cumin
- Coriander
- Oregano
- Dry Mustard
- Ginger
- Crushed Dried Rosemary
- and a couple secret ingredients..
Best part of a spice rub is they are totally experimentally to taste.
What to do:
- Rub Canola Oil lightly on both sides of Pork Chops
- Apply spice rub liberally to both sides
- Place Chops on pan and cover with plastic wrap let refrigerate overnight.
- Hour before grilling remove chops from fridge and uncover
- Heat Grill to High or over 400
- Sear each side of chop for 2 min each side
- Lower heat(gas grill) to medium or move to indirect heat(REAL GRILL)
- Baste Chop with a simple mixture of Apple Juice and Cider Vinegar
- Cook until internal temp reaches 140
- Pull from grill and let chops rest for 15 minutes, this will continue to
cook the
chops without moisture loss.
